As I indicated...

As I indicated in the prior post, 2012 is shaping up to be another outstanding year as more and more global metalcasters make the all important decision to go with a specific solution ONLY for metalcasters.  Right now as a company, Synchro ERP has a number of outstanding quotes on a global basis and multiple trial/pilot systems in place.

I just finished up a demo today and have the quote out the door and really believe that there will be a quick turn around on it for a February install.  This metalcaster needs to get certified as ISO:2008 this year and has come to the right software.  Many Synchro ERP customers are certified on the various IS, QS, TS standards and use the software everyday to either obtain their certification or maintain it.

Achieving a quality certification such as ISO:2008 is not a dog and pony show.  It takes a lot of time, commitment, and money to obtain and maintain.  I have personally been through the process of obtaining and maintaining a quality certification and can readily testify that it is a substantial commitment.  However, in the global manufacturing environment, having a certification is often a prerequisite for doing business.  It's all about documentation and following the quality rules and procedures.

This memo was sent to all salaried employees at the now defunct and bulldozed Citation Lufkin Texas Foundries where I worked for twelve years.  Obviously, having a quality certification is no "Safe Harbor" and certainly no guarantee of continued success.

Until next time, see you on down the road.
